It's been a long time

Hello, to anyone that might still be here! My handle says kidcyan, but I'm actually "sonicfan45!" But the password and recovery email I used have long since vanished from my mind.

Honestly, sometimes I pop back up here because I still enjoy writing and it's nice to see where it all began for me. I made my first online friends here, participated in my first RP here. Heck, satAM was my first fandom when I was a child. I kinda look back and miss things sometimes. I know that I've done a LOT if growing and changing and that I should look towards the future and not the past, but as I say, I feel the bittersweet ache of nostalgia.

I think the forum has pretty much had its day. I know I wouldn't have the time or passion to devote to it that I used to if it did become very active again, and most of the other moderators are not around much anymore, either. But it makes me very happy to hear that you discovered the site and got some joy out of it.

Can I ask--what brought you here and what do you like about the site?

I like how there are still people who love this old show. I love how there are people who are devoted enough to make a whole site about it. And I honestly really love role playing, so there's that. I miss the old days of how websites used to be. Plus, it would be a wonderful place to meet new friends.

I know it's a far reach, but if this place ever DID pick up decently again, I'd like to offer my help and become a mod. I mean, if that's okay.

Lol and as far as what you are saying about the way websites used to be, I kinda agree. These forums are pretty neat, even though many have moved to places like telegram and discord. This place almost feels like an interactive museum.
