Ever since I was kid, I’ve wanted to write the most epic Sonic story ever imagined.
I mean, we all did at some point.
This story has been a very personal project of passion for me, one that’s been bumping around the back of my head for so long that I finally said ‘heck with it’ and decided to post some of the artwork I had made for it.

Synopsis
The story is more or less a direct sequel to Season 2, picking up five years after the destruction of Robotnik’s Doomsday Machine. Mobius is now on a long and very slow path to recovery after having suffered nearly a decade of unchecked ecological abuse at the hands of Robotnik. Knothole village has expanded considerably, no longer just a hidden rebel outpost, but a steadily growing community with a (mostly) functional provisional government lead by Sally Acorn who holds the title of Chairman of the Knothole Council.
Sonic and his friends have also moved up in their lives since their days as freedom fighters, with Sonic and Bunny heading up the local self-defense volunteer squad along with Antoine who handles the administrative side of things. Tails, now a teenager, works alongside Rotor in the finding and dismantling of all of Robotnik hidden weapons caches which are scattered across the continent.
But all is not well, despite the strong feelings of hope and optimism from the mobians. The years of constant pollution has left the city of Robotropolis all but uninhabitable due to the high concentration of toxins in the air, water and soil. Even if they were to triple their efforts, it would still take at least five generations before any real change would be noticeable.
In addition to that, the process of de-robotisizing the million-plus former slaves of Robotnik is also proving to be more difficult than originally expected, due to the constant upgrades and adjustments Robotnik had made to the robotisizer over the year. It seems the only way to fully restore the robotisized mobians is to readjust the original machine’s programming, something which is pretty much impossible without Robotnik to unlock the complex network of security barriers
Before long, Sonic and his friends, both old and new, once again find themselves answering the call to action when an old enemy makes an unexpected return. Their adventures will take them to a world of unknown wonders and discoveries, with ancient secrets waiting to be uncovered and lurking dangers around every corner.
The true battle for the life and soul of Mobius has only just begun.
