    I love Jesus.

I just can't stand that a lot of 'internet warriors' and mainstream secularists keep trying so hard to come down on God and Jesus and talk about things thinking they're more intelligent and condescending on people for reading Holy Scripture.

I used to be part of that atheist internet mindset, but ended up becoming more spiritual and closer to God as an apologist and seventh day adventist and have honestly found it far more rewarding and enjoyable compared to getting into silly secularist media, cartoons and tv shows to come and live off of.

Honestly, I can't believe I even used to completely think like that up until I kind of came, woke up and wisened up as to what it is I want to come and do with my life, instead of just being some internet user that lurks forums all the time.

I mean, I'm a scientist/philosopher in my own regard, and I am happy to come and say I love and believe in Jesus and see no contradiction between scriptures and research conducted and all that. I think it comes and shows that people aren't as completely awake and aware about being completely open minded and thoughtful to other ideas out there in the world.

But I'm glad that nerd construct was something I was able to come and get past in life and push towards being an educator... so... yeah... not gonna let lots of cartoon media come and say I'm smart or stupid nerd or whatever.

    Eh, I'm an atheist. *shrug*

It's no surprise for me either, being raised in a mostly secular household (my dad said he was a believer, but he didn't go to church or read the bible, and my mum was always on the fence). I can see there's a definite appeal in believing in that kind of stuff and I think if you practice it and fall in with the right religious group (NB: I mean in terms of their conduct, not necessarily their beliefs - there are a lot of bad religious groups) you can end up doing some real good in the world.

Personally though, I was just never able to reconcile my want to uncover the meaning to my life (and all life) while being able to suspend my disbelief in gods/religion from a logical point of view. I can't believe in something that the facts tell me doesn't exist, even if doing so might make me happier, so sometime towards the end of my teens I finally gave up and made the decision that meaning and purpose in life is something that I'd have to find elsewhere, which is why I started looking into philosophy instead.

I can sympathise with anyone who is tired of the Reddit atheist crowd getting around on just about every internet messageboard you can name - they're incredibly obnoxious.

I believe in spirits yes and the spirits using religion as a sort of socializing power to track those who are alive to either help them if they followed said guidelines or punish them for failing to follow said guidelines after the spiritual agreement...but the whole jesus sacrificing himself thing for us well...no I don't believe that because he wasn't a "Man" in the first place he possessed a human body and merely escaped the human flesh he was trapped in but he had to be fancy about it...as for if God is real well I believe he is real but isn't nearly as powerful a deity as he wants you to believe nor does he have a proper deity name, according to the story god made hell before Lucifer was sent there and he wasn't even the first fallen angel. satan was a demon made to test man that lived in hell but after meeting Lucifer he and him merged as one. oh and Lucifer did try to stop jesus from listening to god about the whole cross-hanging thing but jesus wouldn't listen so Lucifer merely walked away with no conflict...just wanted to add my thoughts here sorry to those who don't like my comment.
