Anyone know how to register on FUS?

I find the site very confusing to navigate; are registrations closed at the moment or something? This place is pretty much dead now so I'd like to move on to an active SatAM community. I'm not going to leave here entirely, if talk starts up again here I'll join in, but at the moment I feel kind of alone.
