I admit I'm being an impatient, rude, unreasonable a$$hole, but in spite of that, the designs don't work. I'm speaking as someone who studied for four plus years at Sheridan, the hardest animation school to get into in the world. I'm not claiming to be a master artist or character designer by any stretch. My professors frequently tear me a new one, and rightfully so. But I do know more than the average person about this stuff. I would do some sketches to show things like appealing shape, proportion that works, weight, construction, etc, but I do question if it would be worth my time. Would they be looked at? Is this even going to get past the modelling stage? Is it worth taking time away from my group film, portfolio, and schoolwork?
Ask not what Ken Penders can do for you, but what you can do for Ken Penders.
