Ascending to Infinity - Luca Turilli's Rhapsody (well first they were Rhapsody, then Rhapsody of Fire, then they split into Luca's, and since that 2012 album there hasnt been any from either band yet.)

Check out the main series of albums from Symphony of Enchanted Lands (even though my first was enchanted lands part 2) to The Cold Embrace of Fear and From Chaos to Eternity (2 albums released the same year that tied into the saga. yes, this is a whole 10+ album epic!)

If nothing else then for the Christopher Lee narrations, he makes anything sound epic.
As a matter of fact, Symphony of Enchanted Lands part 2 was around the same time as Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers? dont qoute me on that. lol
