Sad news has spread that Emmy award winner William Windom, the voice of Uncle Chuck in SatAm, as well as a recurring actor in Star Trek and Murder She Wrote, has recently passed away at age 88. R.I.P.

Oh, that's sad.

I saw him in a film once where his daughter grew into a giant. I think it was his daughter, anyway. It seemed strange hearing what I considered to be a cartoon voice out of a real person, but watching voice actors acting can be like that.

Well, I'll add my own RIP to the (probably about to grow very big) pile.

*gasp* aww man, he was a perfect voice for Uncle Chuck too. I always liked when he said "Sonny" to Sonic LOL. William Windom is with God now and is no longer suffering Earth's trials and tribulations.

Btw, my grandma was about his age. She would've been 88 years old last January, she died 8 years ago

I just heard about this. That is sad news indeed. He was perfect as Uncle Chuck. On the bright side, he did live to be 88, which is a respectable age. It was just his time, and he will definitely not be forgotten.

Oh that sucks

He was a terrific actor and i grew up with some of the cartoons he portrayed voices in like Dennis The Menace from DIC in the 80s where he played Mr. Wilson.

He was also the voice of Puppetino in the 1987 cult animated movie from Filmation "Pinocchio and The Emperor of the Night", oh man i remembered seeing that movie 25 years ago when i was 6 in theaters with my mom and that infamous scene where his character transformed human Pinocchio slowly back into a puppet scared me. He made a good villain there.

I never knew he was Uncle Chuck until later on the internet.

It's a real kick to the heart to hear something like tI never knew speed Mister Wilson's voice to but I guess that's the magic of voice acting 1 person many voices
