A list of changes? Well, there's quite a bit of them, but nothing major. They're mostly slight changes to the dialogue in order to make them sound more natural and a few quirks here and there to keep the series a bit more interesting.

For example, Sally is a princess and was most likely taught to act like one, so whenever she talks, she speaks delicately with a few big words thrown in to show off her knowledge. Sonic, on the other hand, his a speed-talking prankster due to his addiction to speed, so his hipster dialogue is full of quick, abbreviated/contracted words and cheesy one-liners. I also made Antoine sputter a few miss-attempts at speaking English and gave Snively's persona a hint of a snooty British gentleman (inspired by Rowan Atkinson's performance in "Black Adder").

As for major changes, there's only a few, but nothing drastically different:
* Most the battle scenes were shortened and/or removed entirely because they went on for too long and became kinda repetitive after a while. There's still plenty of action scenes though and some of the removed parts were reused for later scenes.
* I moved the scene between Bunnie and Antoine to after the meeting when Sonic and Sally return from the shelter. I felt its placement in the original chapter kinda broke the story's pacing.
* I also added two scenes featuring Farrell and Lady Windimire giving pep-talks to Sonia and Manic before they leave. I felt like there should've been more emphasis on their relationships and their eagerness to move on with their lives. And later on, I added a bit were Snively briefly interrogates their foster parents before they're roboticized, in which he discovers their relation to Sonic.
* I also added back the scene in the beginning with Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts cleaning the prison since I felt their introduction in the revised chapter was kinda sudden and unexplained.
* I also added a few more cameos in the shelter scene, including Sgt. Doberman (who attempts to interrogate the captured Sonic and Sally before Cyrus steps in) and "Old Man Owl" from the OVA (who greets Sonic in the park and later joins the refugees at Knothole). Most of the other cameos are in the background and have nothing to do with the overall story.

Other than that, there isn't much else. It's still really faithful to your original source material.

One plot idea I would have liked to see in the original show is showing Sally's own tactics falter like Sonic's often did. I disliked how they always portrayed Sally's 'by the book' no risks ethics as more competent than Sonic's spontaneous 'follow your heart' ones, sure there are definitely times Sonic is reckless and should pay for it, but taking risks and being spontaneous is kind of neccessary in points in life too, especially in a war. After all Sally at times is no less arrogant and inflexible than he is.

I could see it sort of working similar to Twilight Sparkle's flawed moments in FIM, in that Sally is good a strategy, but her over attention to detail and meditating and tactizing everything causes slowdown and problems. She'd likely also be rather bad at thinking on her feet and panic. I think this would be a good situation to show how Sonic's own personality could foil her's and give a more equal handed depth to their chemistry.

As for mature Chris, meh. Sure he was less annoying, but without childish flaws he was even duller than before. Same for Tails. Giving a child bratty or innocent qualities can work rather well if implemented right, just Chris was usually more annoying than funny.

That's ok. I understand I went a bit overboard on the battles.

I'm just one who loves intense, prolonged battles.

Well, if you feel that way, ok then. I just thought it would be best to have their conversation right then and there since Bunnie's resentment of not ever getting a love poem would be fresh in her mind and she'd demand on the spot why he never gave her one.

That's no problem. I didn't add that part because I felt it was kinda pointless since I barely even showed them in the story, or even when they were roboticized. I probably should have, but since they wouldn't be shown after Episode 1, I didn't see the need I guess...

Yea, I suppose it was a bit sudden, but I was really trying to downplay their role in the series because I really was dissatisfied on how it came out the first time I wrote Ep 1 and 2. It just felt way too corny for my tastes when I showed them bickering about who was responsible for the mop water on the floor. Not to mention I was trying to make the dumb bots a bit more diabolical as the prison custodians since I made them the ones responsible for Big getting roboticized.

Oh, ok. Personally, Old Man Owl doesn't really do anything for me since he seems kinda of a silly character with no characteristics that stand out, but that's just my opinion.

No, I don't mind at all. This comic's not only fun to draw, but it also helps me learn editing in writing. I like reading a lot, so I often change some stuff around to see what the overall effect would be.

I already have two fan-fictions on Fanfiction.net that I posted some years ago, and they were sorta my takes on other stories I liked. One was a SatAM version of "Sonic Underground" entitled "Sonic Underground Revisited" (sorta a rewritten mixture between the SatAM pilot and "Underground's" first episode) and the other was my take on a "Calvin and Hobbes" movie entitled "The Porcelain Tiger", which was heavily inspired by several other user's fan-fictions on the website. So while taking material from other works, I like to experiment and tinker around with them for fun and to get some originality as well.

I would have liked to see how the freedom fighters came to be, how Julian and Snively found Mobotropolis, the past of the freedom fighters, the history of the Void, Muttski getting de-roboticized, the history of Nicole, Sally eventually becoming queen, and of course Snively coming into power. I would have liked to see, maybe... about three more seasons after season 3. It would have at least made the series well-known.

Has anyone seen Jarredspekter's Sonic: Freedom Fighters scripts? They're all pretty cool. I do like some of the new ideas and radically re-interpreted characters (such as Blaze being a goddess from another dimension). I liked them so much I decided to write up a few of my own.

* I am writing an episode where Lupe Wolf discovers an injured, crying badger when hunting for supplies in the Great Forest. Lupe decides to adopt the badger as her own, and names her Rebecca. Rebecca insists she should be called Sticks instead. Sticks grows accustomed to the company of Lupe's biological children Maria and Marcos. Eventually, Sticks meets Amy Rose, who helps her make some degree of peace between Knothole and the Flock.
* An episode where Sonic finds himself on a resort island, and discovers a beautiful hedgehog girl named Breezie. He takes her to Knothole, and she befriends Rouge, but it turns out she is actually a robot spy! What will Sonic do?
* An episode where Mina considers becoming a popstar, but upon learning of the vapid lifestyles of pop stars such as Fabian Vane, she decides to become more of a classical singer instead.
* A Halloween episode where Team FirePuppy (Breezie and Rouge) uncover a mummified squirrel, which begins to attack and infilitrate Knothole. Sonic and friends have to bring her down.
* Marine, a lesser goddess from Blaze's dimension, decides to switch places with Sticks to avoid her duties. However, she ends up being caught, and now has to prove herself.

I have also came up with a few character re-interpretations.
MOTOBUG units are basically piranhas on wheels, tearing apart anything they can get their mandibles on.
