I'm very sorry, I posted up my character bio before reading this. But I agree completely 100% if I should ever take intrest in roleplaying again some time in the future.

In any case, I'm happy to agree to these rules, and I'm an avid RPer myself. (I don't usually RP fan content though, in fact, this will probably be my first time doing it in several years.)

I'm a little confused about this rule though:

3-Variety

This may not be so much a "rule," but a way to avoid conflicts. A player shouldn't always play the same character, be it official or a fan character. Someone who always plays Sonic can be a good player, but when there's 5-6 roleplaying game going on and he's the one playing Sonic in each game, that begins to get boring. Even if you're not good at it, even if you don't portray the respect and awesomeness the original character had in SatAM, that is not important. It's a roleplaying game, and I don't think anyone on this board will say that you're a bad player or that your character shouldn't have acted this way. Actually, that's my next point.

Does this only apply to canon characters as a means of letting someone else play a character for a change or is it a general rule that you shouldn't use the same fan character all the time either for the sake of variety?

That just means to share cannon characters . That really isn't a problem around here.

How is this to work before trading characters and doing other parts that is if we are doing that - how do we do that ? What's the rotation of tradeing parts

Well, there don't seem to be any active roleplaying threads at the moment, but how exactly to play would depend on what the person who starts a game wants to do.

Canon characters are the "official" characters from Sonic.
