Episode Ideas

LogiTeeka and I have been recently discussing ideas and concepts about what we would have liked to have seen Sonic Satam explore if ever rebooted.

Anyway, I'd like to hear your thoughts about this topic as well.

If you have any episode ideas regarding characters or plots you wish Sonic Satam would have explored, feel free to share them.

I would like to see a Episode about Tails finding an Old Airplane. He would keep it as His little Secret & He would start to rebuild it. In later Episodes you can see how his "Tornado" Project is getting more & more complete. It would be Tails' own little Storyarc!

Lets go for a cliched "Sonic gets Robotisied" - It could be where Knuckles is either introduced, or comes back

Actually, I would have liked to have seen a whole series of 'Prequel' type episodes going into all backstories that could and should have been. Like for example, what is the story behind the origin of the Roboticizer, what made Sir Charles decide to invent it, what was the Great War about, and how did Julian 'win' it and become a 'hero'? What were the backstories on the families of all the FF's, especially, Rotor, Bunnie and Antione, of whom's we know absolutely nothing about? And one dedicated to where Tails comes from, later on? Even Dulcy, I would have liked to have seen an episode introducing her into the group, maybe they 'found' her, or something?

I'm not exactly sure how they would have been able to fit them into the regular ongoing storyline, but I think there should have been at least one full episode devoted to each character and to give a bit on their backstories. And of course, one episode devoted towards the backstory of the Roboticizer, and another on the Great War.

As for exploring characters, Bunnie really needed it. Not only did she get the least spotlight but we never even find out HOW she got roboticised. Now my memory's a bit unclear so please correct me if I'm wrong but from I recall her roboticisation is not even mentioned until the second season right? I mean Sonic Conversion was great because it finally addressed that and showed some of her emotions about it but before then we're just supposed to accept that there's this half robot girl on the team in a show where all the robots are enemies.

Maybe a plot where Tails flying ability comes into play. It is his most defining trait after all. Like a story where the others get into trouble and Tails' flying ability helps out.

Also more exploration of other Freedom Fighters outside of Knothole, such as Ari, Griff and Lupe. Especially Ari since he was a semi-reocurrer but we don't really know much about him.

I like it.

Yea, that is a cliched story to say the least.

Still, it does have alot of potential if written correctly.

Mecha Madness was a good example of this.

I couldn't agree more.

We need more of a backstory concerning these issues.

Yea, that's something that does need a bit addressing I'll admit.

How did Tails end up two tails anyway?

Was it due to a birth defect? Accident?

I agree.

Ari's unit seemed the least bit described, and I thought that was shame. He was an interesting Freedom Fighter to say the least.

Yeah the unused opening would have shown her being roboticised but they never explained it in show. I like the opening we got but I think they should of found a way to put that part in somewhere, it would of made things less confusing. Plus it means that the Rabbot deployment story in the comics was the only explanation we'll get and not only does it work with SatAM (well they're different continuities after all) but it was also done in the comics lighthearted period.

I thought that if there was ever a chance for new episodes I would like to see a prequel episode which explains things like Bunnie's roboticisation, how Tails came to Knothole, how Rosie was captured (though this was explained in Blast to the Past I'd like to actually see it) and how they all met Cat.

You are talking about Cat and Rosie. What about any further contacts with Lower Mobius and Griff from Warp Sonic? They could have been one of the Freedom Fighter Groups attacking the Doomsday Machine, but they were never shown so it seems like they forgot about them.

Yeah I thought it was strange we never saw them in Doomsday. I mean an entire civilisation not destroyed by Robotnik, you'd think they would interact more.

But its a good example for seeing how Season 1 was ignored in Season 2.

I never considered Griff and his group freedom fighters. To me, it looked like they were just hiding out below ground, not fighting, and Griff only came to the surface for supplies. So I think it would have been a little weird to see any of them fighting at the end, although I would have liked to have seen there position more clearly explained.

Even if they are just refugees, the Doomsday Machine is such a dangerous machine for the whole world even they couldn't ignore.

I suppose so, but it seems like it might not be a good idea to have inexperience fighters helping on such an important mission.

Agreed.

In a way, I think Griff's group was more of a society trying to survive Robotnik's siege than trying to fight against him.

Still, I would have liked to have seen them get a backbone and help the Knothole Freedom Fighters out.
