All the Sonic stuff you have

Postby RockoFanatic on August 11th, 2007, 8:47 pm

What's all the Sonic merchandise you have? It can be anything, such as the video games, comics, toys, and videos. If you want, you can have a picture of all of it as well.

I've got Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Spinball, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Shuffle, Sonic Advance 2 Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Rush, Sonic Gems Collection, and Sonic and the Secret Rings. I've also got that PC Sonic collection that has Sonic 2, Sonic 3, S&K, Sonic CD, and Sonic R.

My brother has a Sonic the Hedgehog doll.

And I've got a Sonic the Hedgehog t-shirt (which I'm wearing right now ).

EDIT: I also have my copy of Sonic the Hedgehog: The Complete Series on DVD. How could I possibly have forgotten. :pinch:

A lot...now that I finally have my monitor back, I'm planning at some point on putting up some pictures of Sally merchandise that I have that I don't think anyone knows about

Here's a brief list of what I've got: all the comics minus 3 early issues, most of the books, toys, store displays, production stuff for both SatAM and comics, a few SegaWorld items, games, DVDs and videos, and a few other miscellaneous things.

The Sonic collection I have is pretty large. I still need to take a picture of all of it. It's kinda like PM's collection.

I see you have the 2002 SatAM DVD with the few episodes. Where did you get that? I'm asking because I never found it at any stores I went to back then.

Here's a quick list of what I have:

    DVDs:
    -Sonic SatAM: The Complete Series
-Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Volume 1
    -Sonic X Volumes 1-8
    -Sonic the Movie (OVA)

    Video Games
    -Sonic Heroes
    -Sonic Adventure DX (Windows XP)
    -Sonic Mega Collection Plus
    -Shadow the Hedgehog
    -Sonic Riders
-2 Sega Genesis plug-in games with Sonic games
-Sonic CD, Sonic R, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic & Knuckles Collection (Windows 95)

LOL. Believe me, they're out there! I've seen quite a few that put mine to shame :nervous:

Yes, I'm a bit ashamed to admit I never had either title... I would play them at my friend's house, though, and I have them in the Mega Collection now ;)

I got the DVD on eBay two years ago. Never saw it in any stores, either, but then again I had no idea it existed when it first came out.

I also had a few more things as a kid that have either fallen apart or gotten lost since then, and a few posters that didn't make it into the pics.

I've got issues 0 - 55 of the Sonic Comic, plus a bunch of the mini-series and a few random books I got when I kept checking back to see how the comic was doing. Right now I kinda want to go and buy up all the issues I've missed since then. I've got weird copies of issue #0 that were given out as a Howard Johnson's hotel promotional kid's pack. They have no cover, I think they're only half the issue. But that's how I first discovered there was a comic. Oh, and it also came with a sheet of stickers that I amazingly... still have. ^_^

Hmm, I have some of the McDonald's toys, only one I remember missing was Robotnik. Tails broke after 2 uses, though.

    Gamewise I've got--Sonic I, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Spinball, 3D Blast, SA1 & 2, Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Heroes.

I've also got the VHS release tapes of SatAM.

Lessee... plushie-wise, I have a Vintage Sonic toy and a non-vintage Tail UFO doll.

    I also made little figures of Sonic, Tails, Sally and Knuckles as a kid. They were made out of fun foam. I think they all were lost in a move, though. ;_;

Edit: Somehow I forgot to mention the SatAM DVD box set! But that should really go without saying.

Wow, you guys have done some collecting for quite some time. It's too bad I couldn't do the same, if only because my parents prevented me from doing so. All I have is Archie Comics and the Sega Genesis games. My family wouldn't let me buy a Dreamcast, nor did they let me buy action figures.

    I feel left out.

OK, this is nowhere near everything I have, but here's some on my more unusual stuff:

Sega World entrance card: Don't know why, but clear pictures of this never come out...the background has line-art of Sally, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Robotnik's faces.

Denim children's shirt (I've seen this in adult sizes as well):

    Details on the shirt:

    Complete set of pogs:

    My favorite:

    Definitely unofficial:

I also now have 2 denim children's dress with Sally's face on them, which I'll be selling one of at some point.

Cybermax, don't feel bad...most of what I have I collected fairly recently, and all this stuff here I've had for only a few years. If you really want to get into collecting, it still can be done. You don't have to have started from the beginning unless you're talking about the comics...they'll usually cost a lot if you try to get all of them now.
