James heard his teacher through his comlink and replied, "You got it, I await your arrival." He then turned back to Blaire.

"Its bad...The king banned the freedom fighters and declared us enemies of state, even his own daughter. Hes posessed by something I think. He is making alliances with foreign nations against robotnik. The only trouble is that hes doing the same. We are on the verge of an all out world war. He is militarizing the kingdom and drafting soldiers as young as i am (james is 16). Hes just gone power hungry."

James finished his grim news and added, "All the same Its good to see you all again, how is oakland?"

Ruby shook her head, not wanting to believe what she was hearing. “That’s terrible James! I wished we had known sooner, we could have helped you guys out. I’m sorry you’ve been going through all this.”

Shard put a paw on his old friend’s shoulder. “Well you don’t have to worry anymore, Jimmy! Because the Oakland Resistance Division has got your back!”

James finished his grim news and added, "All the same Its good to see you all again, how is oakland?"

Lance spoke. “We’re doing pretty well back home. Nothing majorly bad has happened. Just the usual stuff with the Klawzax Unit.”

Blaire nodded. “That’s right. Only it’s not the Klawzax Unit anymore. When Raxton was killed, Scarlett Cyphon made herself the leader. The group is now known as the Cyphon Unit.

“Yes, and ever since that change, the Unit has lost pretty much all its danger factor. It was a threat under Raxton’s rule, but Scarlett…” Lance shook his head. “Very unorganized and stuff like that now.”

“But that’s not the only thing that’s been happening,” Shard said proudly, his chest swelling. “Ruby and I are now official members of the O.R.D,” he shouldered his halberd, and formed grinned widely.

Ever since Blaire had heard that voice on James’ comlink, she had been wondering something. “Hmmm…that voice sounds slightly familiar. Who do I know that sounds like that?” the Siberian Husky asked herself. She then approached the brown fox. “Excuse me James, but do you mind telling me who that is you’re talking to?”

"Thats really cool." James said to Shard. "Im still tying to become a fully fleged freedom fighter. I was only a cadet when all this began. Whether or not he meant to, he started playing with the handle of his katana, sliding his sword out an inch and back in again as he said it.

“Excuse me James, but do you mind telling me who that is you’re talking to?”

"That was Hakuzo. Hes teaching me how to master my element." He snapped his finger and said proudly, "Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell you Shard! I Have power to generate and control ice!"

Shard grinned widely. “Ice, you say? That’s a Trundalt’s favorite element! (What can I say? They are huskies, after all ) Now that,” the orange dog paused for a moment. “Is awe-some!”

Blaire’s eyes almost widened when James had told the identify of his teacher. “Hakuzo? Hakuzo NightFox? Are you telling me he’s finally back on Mobius? After twenty years, he’s back?” she sighed contently and smiled. “That Hakuzo. I knew he’d come back home eventually. But after twenty years? I wonder if he even remembers me.” Blaire turned to James. “Do you mind if I borrow that comlink for a moment?”

Blaire nodded. "Yes we do. In fact, my team and I helped him with a pretty large problem shortly before he left.

Hakuzo was about to say something else to Tails when his comlink came back to life with a familar, but much older sounding voice."Blaire? Is that really you? Do you know about the current.... Situation in Knothole?"

Hakuzo thinks for a moment, Wonder how much Blaire has changed over the years. (ooc: what Is Blaire's adjusted age again?) "It would be great to meet you again after these 20 years... But I will warn you... Only a month's time passed for me while I was away... So I should look exactly like the way I left."

Blaire nodded. “That’s right, it’s me, Blaire Fields. Or should I say, Blaire Trundalt,” she smiled at the sky blue Siberian Husky standing next to her. Her smile then ceased. “Yes, yes I do know what’s going on in Knothole,” she said sadly.

"It would be great to meet you again after these 20 years... But I will warn you... Only a month's time passed for me while I was away... So I should look exactly like the way I left."

“It would be nice to see you again too, Hakuzo,” Blaire replied, her smile returning. “I’m sure my family would like to meet you too. Can you tell us where you are?” As she waited for the kitsune to reply, she thought of something.

'Wow, only a month has past for him? The span of time must have been different where he was. I wonder how he reacted when her learned twenty years have passed in Mobius since he left. Hmmm…'

Sonic grabbed at his comlink as he sped his way to his next destination.

"Yo Sal sorry to have kept ya in the dark. I think I'm on ta somethin', I'm on my way to Breaktown ta pull some records that might help me out. I should be back by the end of the day. Hedgehog out!" The comlink went quiet for a while then a flicker of life came back. "P.S. Sal, I love ya."

The hedgehog flashed a playful smirk as he nailed his ending remark. He quickened his pace, as he neared a mountain pass.

Tails looked at Hakuzo with some surprise. "I have a very advanced security system, but not like the one your thinking of. I didn't see the chopper, nor did I hear it." Tails explained carfully, "I felt it." He waited for this to set in. "I have trained as hard as you had always taught me to Master Hakuzo. I have trained that way up to now, and I will continue to train that way. All this to say, my connection with my element is so strong, that almost subconsiously I felt the change in air paterns. The changes that the blades of your bird caused. That's how I was able to tell where you were."

The knowledgeable Kitsune smiled at his master playfully, "As for how everyone gets back, I think your forgetting what my element is."

Hakuzo continues talking to Blaire into the comlink. "Actually, My location is classified, but James can take you to our current base of operations, I think that will be for the best. Hakuzo Out." Hakuzo shuts off the comlink and directs his attention to Tails.

"No, I have no forgotten your element... But for something like that to work... You would have to come with us the whole trip. Not even the greatest mystics can control something as far away as we are going."

Blaire nodded. “Base of operations, got it. Blaire out.” The Siberian Husky switched off the comlink and handed it back to James. “Thank you. Now could you take us to the base of operations?” It was at that moment, Blaire’s own comlink came on. “Excuse me for a second…Yes?...Sorry Aurora, but something came up…good, good, so you took care of them. How many were there?...That doesn’t sound too bad…Listen Aurora, you’ll have to be in charge of the team for a while. Something just came up…Very good. Blaire out.”

Ruby turned to James. “So, how do we get to this base of operations?”

“Come on sis!” Shard shouted. “Someone from dad’s team is going to pick us up. He can take us there and James can act as our navigator! Right buddy?”

James let them back to the base of operations.

"Well, here we are..Not much compaered to freedom hq, but it serves us well enough for now." He turned to blaire. "So what was all that about earlier? Are your peaple doing alright?"

"Yeah, everyone's fine. The O.R.D just had a run in with the Cyphon Unit." Blaire exclaimed. "Those guys have a tendency to strike without notice."

"So how long has this been going on, James?" Shard asked the fox.

O.O.C. (Hey guys I'm back, sorry for all the long delays, work and the sucky internet around here tend to keep me away, but I'm workin' on it.)

Before Tails had a chance to reply to Hakuzo's inquiery the oldest of his two daughters entered the room and jumped into his lap, giving him a good morning hug. Tails smiled and returned the hug.

"Sweety could you go get the inventiong you helped Daddy build?" Tails asked the young mobian.

With out a word the youngster smiled and ran from the room, Tails' attention turned back to Hakuzo.

"I've been busy the last few years," He commented with humor, "I've managed to create a device that I can filter my power into. If I charge one and give it to you, you should be able to use it once you out of my range, and it should get you back with out any trouble."

The young girl soon returned with what looked like a metal beer keg, with a needle gage on the side. Tails placed his hand above the small opening. The gage soon moved up to full and the two tailed fox explained how it would work.

"You will need to mount this under the chopper, it releases air in a cyclone pattern so it should keep your propelers moving. I've set it so that's all it does, just pop open the lid and your bird should fly like normal, only much more silent."

Hakuzo takes the device and looks it over carefully. "Is there a control device? So I can change the air speed to stop or slow down if there is trouble?"

"Ok, that's good to know. I think its times to get back to our base of operations. Hmm, do you want me to wait for a reply from you, or would you like me to take a hand written note personally to Sally?"

"Well that's everything. You ready to head back now DePhole? Lin?"
