    The Mobius Fallacy

    Postby PorpoiseMuffins on November 17th, 2010, 11:28 am

    We have a new article up titled The Mobius Fallacy, written by Mercury, perhaps best known for his Sonic hacking skills and involvement in that mind-blowing fan game, Sonic Fan Remix. He also tells me he's a big time SatAM fan.

    The article is fantastic, so check it out!

    Pretty well-written, and he gets credit for keeping things in proper perspective, not making the mistake of stating his interpretations as facts but instead theories. It is also a good reminder of why I cooled on Concept Mobius so quickly...lD;

    Huh, and here I didn't even know people were claiming "Mobius" was a mistranslation. Very nice clarification.

    I give the founder some leeway since a) at the time he wrote that stuff he was one of the only ones in the fanbase talking any sense about the continuities and b) we didn't know as much then as we do now.

    It is interesting that a Sonic the Hedgehog setting is named after a nineteenth-century German mathematician and his eponymous single-sided, single-edged strip.
