What's so strange about it? Sonic ties up Robotnik and feeds him an ice cream bar coated with pop rocks and it somehow electrocutes him...yeah. It should be noted that the guy doing Robotnik here tries to imitate Jim Cummings a bit:

Im lost for the words to be honest. It seems that the announcer was orgasming on his own words which made this a bit creepy. But I agree, that is some fine animation there.

Am I the only one who finds this ad really, really creepy? It's like Sonic and Tails are a couple of scary surgeons operating on poor ol' Robotnik, who looks a lot less menacing and a lot more doughy here. o_O

SEGA was never consistant w/Robotnik's design in the 90's. They kept switching between the game design, the design from AoStH, and Julian's designs in non game related media.

I'm sure at one point in time they did. SatAM characters were going to appear in a game called sonic mars and princess sally was featured at segaworld so who knows what could have been. Could this commercial be put on the downloads section of the site? Just in case it gets taken off youtube.
