Some of the fanart was easily from people whom didn't have much experience as Sonic artists, but it's great to see all the winning pieces of art on the boxset. I was disappointed to find that there wasn't any bonus feature of fanart in the discs, I could of sworn I seen some fabolous fanart on FUS back when the winners were announced.

You gotta be careful there. I don't want to disappoint you or anything, but I know I've been deceived a lot of times when I watched some old cartoons I liked when I was a kid. Fortunately, it didn't happen with SatAM when I found my tapes a few years ago or watched them on the recent boxset, we don't want you to come down of your happiness cloud without a parachute, don't we?

But if you're a big fan of the series, and focus your thoughts on what this show represents, I'm sure you'll like it! I know you posted this on your intro and not here, but who cares, Antoine rules! ^^

That's what happened with me when I watched AOSTH for the first time in years. I could barely stand it. The jokes were corny, the animation was weak, it just wasn't my type of show. But as a kid I loved it, not only because it starred Sonic but also because I found back then to be funny. Now it's embarrassing if I watch it.

I expected sorta the same from SatAm, but luckily it was a more mature show than it's happy counterpart. Antoine and Dulcy still get on my nerves, but otherwise this was a well put together show, even for those who have long passed puberty.

There is a funny situation about AOSTH in Italy ;in our nation had been created an italian intro which pieces of AOSTH only,but the terrible thing is that the intro was used both in AOSTH and Satam .

So,when I watched Satam season 1 for the first time(at that time I still didn't know the AOSTH,I thought that Satam was the only animated series about the hedgehog, and Internet was still absent) I was very surprised by the fact that in the intro appeared just Sonic,Tails,Robotnik and his two followers and the atmoshere was so light and animation different I couldn't understand the thing very well ,I had some suspects,for example that the intro may have speaked about a prequel series with different style,just when I could see the AOSTH much time later I totally understood that awful situation and that universes were different.

I don't see AOSTH from some years,when I have watched it I considered it decent and quite hilarious ,and besides that seller was rather funny,in my opinion,but maybe is better that I continue the thing in the other topic.

I too have beeen deceived by some old cartoons after some years , but the Satam remains great,yes,is suitable to every age for his themes,great point Cybermax.

Well guys, after trying to figure out how to get a SatAM Boxset for 6 weeks, and 2 weeks of waiting when I decided how to get it...

'So I'll give you a bit of good/bad news regarding the sales of the SatAM set...

Despite the fact that is was released one month to the day AFTER Captain N: The Game Master, Sonic The Hedgehog: The Complete Series has nearly TRIPLED the good Cap's sales. The unfortunate thing about this news is that Cap hasn't lived up to our hopes and dreams. Still, Sonic's had no trouble meeting our expectations to the point that everything we sell now is icing.

I felt that Captain N: The Game Master could have done better as a whole. It was alright, but it certainly wasn't one of the top tier cartoons that were there at the time (TMNT, Batman: TAS, etc).

But this is great news for us SatAm fans. It goes to prove that it's not completely forgotten, and that is a good thing.

I been waiting for someone to say this. I still think there are many out there who have enjoyed watching the series at one point, and because it hasn't aired in so long over in North America, they simply dropped it and moved on. Having rediscovered this show last year I've been trying to convince a few others online to buy the set. Not everyone liked the show but if we get enough people to buy these sets until they are sold out in some stores, something good might happen.
