O.O.C. (I do have to apologize once again, I am losing sight of THE Sonic and replacing him with my own. Once things calm down, he will go back to his lovable self I assure you.)

Dulcy had been soring over head trying to get a good look down into the forest, but with the trees as they were, it was quite the challenge.

She noticed something black and shady moving among the trees.

"Well," she thought to herself, "Its all I have to go on. Going down."

She swooped down at the figure, which suddenly disappeared from view. She tried to stop, but was rather unsuccessful and crashed headlong into a tree. She then tumbled to the ground, bouncing and breaking branches all along the way.

She finally landed with a loud crash and found quite the sight to behold.

There was Fidget the bat, and Princess Sally Acorn, and they were hugging.

The dragon knew something wasn't right, she shook her head to clear it of the clouds. She squinted at the odd couple and realized that they weren't hugging, the Fidget was trying to kill Sally, again.

Filled with anger Dulcy stood up and shot a small ball of fire right a the bats tail end.

Sonic didn't hear the robot's threat, he was to busy working out his plan. He checked his watch again and pushed himself even harder. He had to make it there was no going back in his mind.

He arrived at the pool just as it began to glow. The Power Ring rose, and he jumped snatching it as he went by, and landed on the other side.

He made a sharp turn around the pool, breaking the sound barrier as he went by. His eyes narrowed, his plan was dangerous to himself and everyone else, it required complete concentration.

he had called upon the power ring many times before, but never when he was going top speed. He knew he could run faster than the speed of sound, now he wanted to know if he could run fast enough to be unseen. Everyone could see a blue blur, but the only way he could win was if he was completely invincible.

He had never travel at this speed before, ever thing was a hazard, ever step had to be planed out.

He came up on Coggle and realized what the crazed bot had been raving about. Hatred filled every fiber of his being. Ester had done nothing, he didn't even know how she had gotten caught up in this, but to see her in this circumstance only made him run that much faster. He opened and closed his left hand a few times. He had to time this just right, he had to catch him just right to keep Ester from getting hurt.

Sonic passed by and grabbed Coggle by the throat. The blade stabbed into his arm, but he would rather have that than the hare's throat. Coggle's grip on Ester wasn't very strong, and the bot dropped the hare, once he was seized.

Sonic continued to run, gritting his teeth against the pain in his left arm and gripping the ring in his right hand, draining every bit of power he could from the round object.

He continued to build speed, hoping that last bit of his plan would go off with out a hitch.

[Fidget]

Fidget released Sally and jumped out of the way of the fire ball and landed with a loud thud. He looked at Dulcy and immediatly began to quiver with fear. "Y-y-you again?, w-well I must admit you're stubborness is quite alarming. B-but she must die, Snively demands it. Do you think I want to kill her? HA! The answre is NO! But I have no choice in what mission I'm assigned I just complete it." He shook his head and inhaled lightly. "Soon you'll see what I mean." He amed the rifle at Dulcy and smiled. "Nothing personal, it's just good business."

There was suddenly a very loud explosion, that shook the ground and threw everyone off balance. Dulcy took the chance to snatch Sally and turn skyward.

"Nothing personal!" she shouted back to Fidget.

[Fidget]

Fidget's eyes twitched as he pulled his ears down in frustration. He wistled and four hover units flew and stopped in front of him. "After her!, and bring me the princess, alive!" With that said, the hover units took off after the dragon, firing stun lasers as they flew. The insane fruit bat smiled as he watched the four take off into the distance. "Don't get too comfortable, I have a little surprise just for you Dulcy." He said as he chuckled and pulled a remote out and pushed a large red button on it.
