Hi, I'm new here. Been a fan of the series since it first came out in '93. I started watching the VHS copy I had again recently, now that my daughter is old enough to appreciate it. And StarzEncore shows it on weekdays around 4pm, and I'm able to watch it on most days. It led me to start googling the series to see what info is out there...and now I'm here.

It was my favorite cartoon when I was 10...and is probably my most favorite cartoon out of all the ones I've watched. I'm disappointed to hear that they had a third season sketched out, only to have ABC kill it. But Power Rangers was a juggernaut.... There was no hope of anything competing with it, if the reasons I read are true....

Anyway, it seems that this place has gone quiet, but if experience serves me well, I somehow tend to wake up dead forums when I join. I'm like a people magnet, I guess. Hopefully I'll unconsciously work the same magic here.

Hello JediMindTrick. Welcome to the forums.

It was a bummer that season 3 never saw the light of day as it would have been interesting to see where the story would go next. I'm glad the show got to gain some popularity thanks to the internet. I knew about SatAM as a kid, but I never really paid attention to it. Sonic X was what got me into Sonic as a kid, and I never looked into SatAM at all until early college. I'm glad I watched SatAM though, because it was very enjoyable for me. Then I eventually found this site, which is very civil, especially when compared to other places on the internet.

It has been rather quiet here for a while now, but it's always great to see a new member.

Hi SatAM fan people, I'm here now.

The forums seem pretty quiet, at least since New Year's. Joining this site is kind of the first effort I've made in years at trying to connect to a part of the Sonic fandom outside of social media... I've had some pretty less-than-good experiences with the fandom in my life, but I'm hoping maybe this can go well.

I really love SatAM. Every now and then I look at my copy of Sonic the Hedgehog: The Complete Series on DVD and thank the stars that I was lucky enough to think to get it when it didn't cost like a bajillion dollars to get (yes, $50+ is not a bajillion dollars. Yes, I don't know how to count.) I love the writing, I love the maturity it brought to the series,

    Spoiler: show
and I love the fact that it had two women in the main cast that were given very emotionally-complex stories instead of just being there to be The Girls that like The Guys,
though I'm sure my read on their characters can and will be debated.

Thanks for reading this, if any of you do. Maybe something'll happen and the fandom will kick up again and start writing in here. Maybe when the IDW comics start coming out. ^-^
I'm a girl who really likes Sonic and Sally. Like, those two characters, not specifically the two of them as a couple... though I do like that too—
I also like all the other characters too

Hello SonicGurl98. Welcome to the forums.

    Spoiler: show
I also like that there are female characters in Sonic SatAM that don't exist with the sole purpose of being the male characters' girlfriends. Sally Acorn is obviously a love interest for Sonic, but she still has other goals and personality traits that keep her from being that boring stereotype (though it's hard to say exactly what the original idea behind her conception was).
